Jim Wolstencroft (G.O.D.A.) (G.I.D.A.)
Jim’s involvement in theatre began with an apprenticeship in the Lyric Theatre, Belfast under its founder, Mary O’Malley. He went on to combine a career in the Civil Service with an enthusiastic commitment to amateur drama.
Jim is a First Honours Historian and Alumni of both the US Federal Executive and Salzburg Seminar. He worked mainly in London, Washington, Brussels and Belfast and has been involved with a number of dram Groups as actor and director.
He has won many Festival awards including AUDF best Actor-twice! He was admitted to GODA in 1999 and has recently been accepted as a member of the newly formed Guild of Irish Drama Adjudicators.
He is delighted to have been invited to adjudicate the 2012 Ballymoney Festival and we look forward to hearing what he has to say!
