Walker Ewart,
Bangor

Walker Ewart was a teacher of French and Spanish for 23 years and now works in education. His first taste of the stage was at the age of 14 in the role of Sir Oliver Surface in School for Scandal and from then on he was smitten.

He has been involved with amateur Drama for thirty years and has enjoyed success as both an actor and a director, most notably appearing in winning productions of Observe the Sons of Ulster.. and Amadeus at AUDF Finals and taking his production of Say Something Happened to represent NI in the British Finals in 2001. He has also been Chairman of Bangor Drama Club and Bangor Drama Festival and of AUDF.

Walker’s adjudications are inevitably coloured by these experiences as he fully appreciates the amount of work that is required by all concerned in staging a successful Festival entry. This will be Walker’s first visit to Ballymoney as an adjudicator but he has wide experience in this role and adjudicated the All Ireland Full Length Finals in Athlone in 2008.

We look forward to his informative, fair and insightful comments each night ?and to the Final Adjudication!
